Inbox Cleaner is a browser-based tool that helps you analyse and clean up your Gmail inbox. This policy explains what data we access and how it's used.
Inbox Cleaner requests access to your Gmail account via the Google OAuth 2.0 flow. Specifically, we request:
We do not read email subject lines, email body content, attachments, recipients, or any other metadata.
localStorage on your device.messages.trash API — triggered manually by you. Emails go to your Gmail Trash and can be recovered within 30 days before Google permanently deletes them.Scan results are cached in localStorage on your device. You can clear this at any time by signing out or clearing your browser data. We retain no data ourselves.
We do not sell, share, or transfer your Gmail data to any third party. The only service that receives your data is Google (to fulfil the Gmail API requests you initiate).
You can revoke Inbox Cleaner's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
